Ingredients
- Garlic, 2 cloves minced
- Lemon, 1
- Parsley, 1/4 cup chopped
- Butter, 4 tbs.
- Flour, 2 tbs.
- Chicken broth, 32 oz
- Penne, 16 oz.
- Capers, 3.5 oz.
- Parmesan cheese, to taste
Equipment
- Grater
- Lemon squeezer
- Large pan
Prep
- Mince garlic
- Zest 1/2 lemon
- Chop parsley
- Grate parmesan
Instructions

Melt butter in pan over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until fragrant, ~30 seconds.

Add 2 tbs. flour and stir, ~1 minute.

Gradually add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Add penne and stir frequently for as long as the pasta instructions indicate.

Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, and capers.

Top with grated parmesan before serving.
