Ingredients
- Cabbage, 1/2 small head
- Green onion, 3 stalks
- Corn, 1/4 cup (optional)
- Eggs, 2 large
- Flour, 3/4 cup
- Bacon, 4 slices
- Worchestershire sauce, 2 tbs.
- Ketchup, 2 tbs.
- Soy sauce, 1 tsp.
- Mayonnaise, 3 tbs.
- Sriracha, 1 tbs.
- Furikake, to taste
Equipment
- Large bowl
- Small bowls
- Medium frying pan
Prep
- Thaw bacon, if necessary
- Shred cabbage into fine strips
- Thinly slice green onions
- Mix the Worchestershire sauce, ketchup, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
- Mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha in a small bowl.
Instructions

In large bowl, combine cabbage, green onions whites, corn, half of the green onion greens, eggs, and a 1/2 cup of cold water.

Sprinkle and mix in flour.

Beat until the batter is thick with a lot of bubbles.

Line the frying pan with the bacon strips and set heat to medium.

Pour mix and spread evenly over the bacon.

Cover and cook until bottom is well-browned, ~10 minutes. Lower heat as needed.

Flip onto lid, then slide the okonomiyaki back into the pan.

Cover and cook until well-browned, ~8 minutes. It should not be runny, but still tender in the center.

Transfer to serving plate, bacon side up.

Drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and spicy mayo. Sprinkle with furikake and remaining green onion.

Serve immediately.
