Korean Marinated Eggs (Mayak)

Ingredients
- Eggs, 4
- Soy sauce, 3 tbs.
- Honey, 2 tbs.
- Sesame seeds, 1 tsp.
- Sesame oil, 1 tsp.
- Sugar, 1/2 tsp.
- Green onion, 1
- Garlic, 1 clove
- Chili pepper, 1/2
Equipment
- Small glass container with a lid
Prep
- Chop green onion
- Mince garlic
- Chop chili pepper
Instructions

Bring water to boil.

While water is heating, in small glass container combine: honey, sesame seeds, sesame oil, sugar, green onion, garlic, and chili pepper.

Add soy sauce and 1/4 cup of water to the mixture.

Boil eggs for ~7 minutes, or until soft boiled.

Let eggs sit in ice bath until cool.

Peel eggs.

Add eggs to mixture.

Gently stir in more water if necessary.

Let eggs sit covered in fridge overnight, or at least 6 hours.

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for ~3-4 days.
